Soccerscape, a collaborative installation between Vignettes™ and Downtown Van, was created to celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2026 festivities hosted in Vancouver.
The soccer-themed canopy installation highlights the qualifying tournament countries playing in the city and is accented with larger-than-life soccer balls. The playful mix of giant spheres, set against the iconic architecture of the Vancouver Art Gallery, creates a fun and unexpected moment for people to capture and share. The custom soccer ball seating and turf knolls invites the public to sit, play, and enjoy while experiencing the bustling pace of Robson Square.
