What We’ve Already Heard
This survey didn’t come from nowhere. Over the last couple of months, we hosted eight stakeholder roundtable sessions with business owners, community leaders, and sector representatives from across downtown Vancouver.
Participants shared honest assessments of:
- The current state of the downtown core
- What the City is doing well
- Where there are urgent gaps
- What they want to see from the next government
The most common themes from those conversations informed the questions in this survey.
Civic organizations like ours don’t just hold events — we also engage in advocacy. The data collected through this survey will be used to support an evidence-based understanding of community perspectives in downtown Vancouver.
