Get cozy under the stars and between the skyrises at this year’s Summer Movie Nights
Summer Movie Nights is back! Brought to you by Downtown Van, this free, family-friendly event is set to transform the heart of downtown Vancouver into an open-air theatre. Grab your loved ones, cozy up on šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square (Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza), and prepare for an unforgettable evening under the stars.
What: Summer Movie Nights is a free outdoor movie event. Movies are played on a 16-foot inflatable screen and begin at sundown. As a warm-up to each film, there will be face painting, stilt walkers, drag performances, mini-golf, live music, and more!
When: Thursday evenings, July 4—Aug 15, 2024. Movies begin at sundown, with performances and art activities beginning at 5 pm
Where: šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square (formerly known as the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza)

- Food trucks and treats vendors will be on-site every week
- Some seating is available but it is first come, first serve. We encourage you
to bring your own seating and blankets. - Dress warmly for when the sun sets as it can still get cool at night!
