From Saskatchewan to the Sunshine Coast, Manila, the North Shore, and Kitimat, Christina has called many places home, all before the age of 10.
Fast forward to today, she has called Vancouver home for over 20 years and is the owner of REVIVAL Colour Analysis Studio, located in Bentall Centre. Before launching REVIVAL, Christina built her career in corporate marketing and business development, experience she says has “trained [her] to obsess over how things look, feel, and land with an audience.” That background made opening a colour analysis studio feel like a natural next step.
REVIVAL originally began as a vintage clothing store in Mount Pleasant, but the business quickly grew. In just over a year, Christina opened a second location in Bentall Centre Three. When the Broadway subway line closure was announced, she made the decision to “not renew the Main Street lease and went all-in downtown” she shares. “No regrets. I love it here.”
Now, Christina is on a mission to get Vancouver out of its unofficial uniform of black, grey, and beige, and into colours that genuinely suit them. REVIVAL is one of Vancouver’s only dedicated Colour Analysis Studios, offering one-on-one consultations using the 23 Seasonal Colour System. As an accredited analyst, Christina helps clients discover the shades that truly work for them, rather than simply following trends. Once clients understand their palette, it transforms “how people shop, how they get dressed, and honestly, how they feel about themselves.”
For Christina, the most rewarding part of the experience is “the moment a client sees their palette and something clicks.” She explains, “People arrive a bit unsure and sometimes skeptical, and they leave converted and inspired.”Beyond personal style, Christina says her “why is rooted in slow fashion.” In a culture driven by overconsumption, understanding your colours can help eliminate impulse purchases and trend-chasing in favour of intentional shopping. “REVIVAL exists to help people buy better, not more.” she ends saying.
