Vancouver is celebrated for its vibrant nightlife, diverse cuisine, and lively downtown energy, but there’s one street that truly shines when it comes to bustling patios and local flavour: Granville Street.

In July, we had the pleasure of showcasing these businesses to a select group of local content creators on an unforgettable tour.

Why Influencer Tours Matter

Influencer tours offer businesses a unique platform to showcase their products and services to a select group of carefully chosen influencers. Downtown Van hosts these tours 3-4 times a year, free of charge for their member businesses. While collaborating with influencers can often be an expensive endeavour,  these curated tours provide a cost-effective way to build a strong online presence. By participating in the tour, local businesses can directly engage with content creators who will share their stories with thousands of followers—helping to create authentic connections and boost brand visibility.

We’re also grateful to have worked with Convoy Communications to bring this tour to life. Their expertise in event planning and communication helped make the day a seamless and memorable experience for everyone involved.

The Pawn Shop

The afternoon tour began at the perfect place to gather, The Pawn Shop, where influencers had the chance to connect over delicious cocktails and tacos. Chef Marcus introduced their menu including promotional features such as OG tacos and Patron margarita towers. The influencers tasted a variety of standout dishes from the menu, showcasing the restaurant’s diverse and creative offerings.

You can visit The Pawn Shop at 1117 Granville St.

Good Co.

The next stop was Good Co., known for its upbeat vibe! This bar features arcade games, pool, beer pong, and weekly events like trivia, DJ nights, and drag brunches. Although their patio is still under construction, influencers got to enjoy a lively atmosphere indoors while sampling signature appetizers and sipping from their exclusive Summer cocktail series.

Be sure to visit Good Co. at 965 Granville St.

Dublin Calling

We made our way to Dublin Calling, Vancouver’s lively Irish pub in the heart of Granville Street. With its spacious open patio, it’s the perfect place to kick back with a cold Guinness and dive into traditional Irish bites like their popular spice bags. Inside, the energy is just as strong with 15 big-screen TVs lighting up the space, it’s a hotspot for catching the game and soaking up the fun.

You can find Dublin Calling at 900 Granville St.

The Rec Room

Our final stop was the Rec Room, an entertainment hub featuring arcade games, VR experiences, a full restaurant, bars, and live events all under one roof. Influencers wrapped up the tour in style with the All-You-Can-Summer promo, enjoying tasty drinks and appetizers that ended the day on a high note.

Check out the Rec Room at 855 Granville St.

This influencer tour offered a fresh and exciting way to explore the vibrant food and drink scene that makes Granville Street a standout destination in Vancouver. While influencers sampled some of the city’s top bites and sips, local businesses had the opportunity to showcase their offerings to a highly engaged, community-driven audience. Whether you’re from the city or just passing through, these spots are well worth a visit!
