This August, we were pleased to host a curated influencer tour highlighting standout businesses throughout our district!

Why Influencer Tours Matter
The Influencer Tour was designed to inspire content that highlights downtown Vancouver’s unique offerings. Downtown Van hosts these tours 3-4 times a year, free of charge for their member businesses. While collaborating with influencers can often be an expensive endeavour, these curated tours provide a cost-effective way to build a strong online presence. By participating in the tour, local businesses can directly engage with content creators who will share their stories with thousands of followers that helps create authentic connections and boost business visibility.
If you’re a Downtown Van member, learn more about these tours and register your interest here.
Vancouver Art Gallery
We kicked off the tour at Vancouver Art Gallery, where influencers discovered the Gallery’s current exhibitions, from Vancouver Now! Emily Hermant, featuring intricate woven works made from recycled electrical wires and data cables, to Future Geographies: Art in the Century of Climate Change, SANCTUARY: The Ancient Forest Experience, and That Green Ideal: Emily Carr and the Idea of Nature. Also, a highlight of the visit was the iconic Jim Lambie: Zobop staircase, with its vibrant, eye-catching design making it a must-see moment at the gallery.

Granville Room
Our next stop was Granville Room, influencers enjoyed a delicious variety of menu items, from nachos to poke bowl, alongside refreshing mocktails and cocktails. It was the perfect way to take in the vibrant atmosphere and enjoy great food and drinks right on Granville Street.

Shamrock Storehouse
The influencers stopped by the third stop, Shamrock Storehouse, to sip on some of the lively Irish pub’s most popular drinks including Shamrock Guinness Espresso Martini, Passion Fusion, and baby Guinness. They also had a chance to taste some appetizers and preview The Store, a late bar and event space.

Stop by Shamrock Storehouse located at 1006 Granville St or check out their menu here.
Par-Tee Putt
Our final stop was Par-Tee Putt where they capped off the tour with a round of mini golf and drinks in hand. It’s a great spot for small or big groups for a night out with friends.
