ABOUT THE SESSION
Gain insight into BC Hydro’s latest programs and learn how their services can benefit you and your business. All Downtown Van members are welcome to join, particularly those in retail, food and beverage, and nightlife. BC Hydro staff will be available during the session to provide more information and answer any questions you may have.
The Demand Response for Business program allows businesses to shift some of their electricity use away from peak times, helping reduce demand on the system. Businesses can earn $50 per average kilowatt (kW) reduced over the course of the season, with the potential to earn an average of $1,200 per season.
