Your Go-To Market for Japanese Food & Drinks in Downtown Vancouver!

Did you hear? Downtown Vancouver just gained a new spot for Japanese food lovers. On March 3, 2026, Aburi Market officially opened its door, bringing a range of Japanese cuisine, premium ingredients like Iwate A5 wagyu, and everyday market finds in the heart of the city Monday to Friday.

Created by Aburi Restaurants Canada, this 3,200 square foot market blends the convenience of grab-and-go food with the quality of restaurant-level Japanese cuisine. Designed with warm wood tones and soft lighting, ABURI Market Downtown’s interior is elevated by signature prints from longtime collaborator, Hideki Kimura.
