Summer Movie Nights is back and better than ever!
Brought to you by Downtown Van, this free, family-friendly event is set to transform the heart of downtown Vancouver into an open-air theatre. Grab your loved ones, cozy up on šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square (Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza), and prepare for an unforgettable evening under the stars.
What: Summer Movie Nights is a free outdoor movie event. Movies are played on a 33-foot inflatable screen and begin at sundown. As a warm-up to each film, there will be activations such as face painting, dancers, circus performers, DJ’s, mini golf, and more!
When: Thursday evenings, July 3—Aug 14, 2025. Movies begin at sundown, with performances and activities beginning at 5 pm
Where: šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square (formerly known as the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza)
