Create and maintain vibrant, welcoming outdoor spaces in the downtown core

The Downtown Patio Fund offers funding of up to $3,000 to help local businesses create, upgrade, or weatherproof patios.

These grants are designed to transform underused outdoor areas into vibrant, accessible spaces—boosting foot traffic, enhancing the public realm, and supporting local economic recovery.

Whether you’re building a new sidewalk café, weatherproofing an existing patio, or adding sustainable features, the fund helps cover the costs of materials, furnishings, and improvements.
