The Black Block Party is an annual celebration of Black Music, Art, and Culture as an avenue for community creation among the Black Vancouver population.
The event features talented black singers, artists and cooks. There are live performances, visual art displays and other activities throughout the afternoon and evening on the day of the event.
It is a free-access event, highlighting the Black community, and it is open to all. The BBP will be returning for its 3rd consecutive year in 2024.
This event is a fun way to immerse yourself in black culture in downtown Vancouver as it showcases the black community and fosters friendships with allies!
