Join us at Bentall Centre on Wednesday, December 1st to celebrate the start of the holiday season in downtown Vancouver!

Get ready to kick off the start of the holiday season with live music and dance performances at Bentall Centre!

As an ode to the past 40 years of the iconic Christmas tree in the Bentall Centre plaza, Hudson Pacific Properties has partnered with Small Stage to bring festive magic to the streets of downtown Vancouver to celebrate this holiday tradition. Join them for a unique outdoor winter experience inspired by The Nutcracker featuring the Arts Umbrella Dance Company’s Mixed Nuts, Homegoing Brass Band and singers Marie Hui and Krystle Dos Santos. The 40th Holiday Celebration will feature whimsical pop-up holiday performances designed to spread joy and love this holiday season through dance and music.

Arts Umbrella Dance Company will perform excerpts from their modern and engaging twist on Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, bringing together a flavoursome assortment of dance styles for an extra-special holiday treat.

The event also includes free warm drinks and snacks as well as a professional photo booth capturing guests under the twinkling archway of the 45-foot Christmas tree. This is a free public event with a suggested donation to Covenant House Vancouver who provides housing and support services for homeless and at-risk youth.

This unique experience invites passers-by to discover the magic of the holidays on the Dunsmuir Patio at Bentall Centre on December 1st from 4:00pm – 7:00pm.
