The DVBIA has partnered with LOCO BC, BOMA BC, and the Vancouver’s BIA Partnership to identify the economic burden of the City of Vancouver’s permit and licensing process on businesses in the city. We will aggregate the information from more than 25 businesses city-wide to push for decreased wait times and improved process efficiency with City staff and City Councillors.

We need businesses who have recently received a permit/license from the City of Vancouver to share information on the impact on their business. In order to determine the economic impact of the process, we will collect data on:

  • revenue
  • employment/payroll
  • lease costs
  • property taxes
  • purchasing
  • other

This information is collected confidentially. We will only use data in aggregate. We will also collect your ideas for making the process more efficient, or your experiences from other jurisdictions. Please fill out this online survey or book a 30 minute call with Amy Robinson at amy@locobc.com 604-351-1664.
