Vancouver Queer Film Festival is back and the line-up is better than ever. The festival starts on Thursday, August 9, ending Sunday, August 19.
The VQFF is the largest LGBT arts event in Western Canada with 11 days of movies, performances and events. The festival celebrates and narrates the stories of queer lives, relationships, experiences and the problems facing the LGBT society, including queer people of colour, trans people and indigenous people. The movies are directed by filmmakers from all over British Columbia, including other Canadian and international directors.
